Countryman ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs), popular in the past, David Price, suspects that “AJ” chose Robert Garcia as a coach “for a reason.” But this is unlikely to help him in a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), he added.
“This is a big business decision that will have a big impact on whether he wins this fight or not. He tried several other coaches and saw something in him, — said the Briton

Price is pleased that Joshua has finally decided on a mentor.
“The longer he did not make a decision, the less time he had to spend with the one he chose for revenge. But Garcia’s choice was a surprise. I didn’t foresee this, and I don’t think anyone did,” Price said.

On September 25 last year in England, the Ukrainian confidently outboxed Briton Joshua on points, taking away his WBA, WBO and IBF world titles. The day before yesterday, promoter Hearn confirmed the postponement of the Usyk-Joshua rematch, but named two dates at once.
