Former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) may well fly into 38-year-old Robert Helenius (31-3, 19 KOs) in the fall comeback. So says the head of Matchroom Promotions Eddie Hearn.
The fight will take place on October 15 in Brooklyn (USA).
“Robert is a good fighter, he is now on the wave,” said the promoter.
“I actually think that Wilder can lose to Helenius. To be honest. It’s a good, tough fight. I think they can beat him,” Hearn repeated.
Wilder – Helenius. The first statements of boxers
Recall that for the American this is the first fight since October 2021: then he flew into Tyson Fury ahead of schedule for the second time in a row. And Helenius knocked out Adam Kownacki twice in a row.
Previously, Wilder gave a prediction for the Usyk-Joshua 2 fight. And then another one: Joshua is broken, bet on Usyk.
