Former world champion American heavyweight Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) shared his opinion about the victory of Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) in a rematch over Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs). The fight took place over the weekend in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), ended with a split decision of the judges, the titles of WBA Super, IBF, WBO and according to The Ring Magazine.
It’s no secret that Wilder has an old score with Joshua – still blaming him for disrupting a potential fight for the undisputed world title that could have taken place in 2018.

Wilder says. “Crash will always happen if you are busy creating this type of fighter. It’s just a matter of time. You serve him everything on a silver platter. You are trying to make him constantly avoid dangerous opponents. But at one point, his wires burn out, and he no longer knows who to listen to. He is used to sweet words. And in one moment he realizes that they turned out to be lies.
The American bet on Usyk on the eve of revenge. Wilder explained his choice: “It’s simple. I trusted my eye. But seriously, body language says a lot. You all saw how confident and calm Usyk was. And Joshua was just not like himself. Plus everyone knows about his stamina issues. Everyone knows he’s too big for the style of boxing.”
