If everything goes further without surprises, then the signing of contracts for a fight between WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and ex-champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) will be officially announced very soon.

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren spoke about where the process is now:

“Contracts have already been sent to Joshua’s team. Now we are waiting for them to study and sign them, after which we can have one of the greatest events in the history of British boxing.

Many sensed something was wrong when Fury stopped being active in social networks, immediately after Joshua accepted his terms. Warren explained why this is not a cause for concern:

“After the death of the Queen, Tyson showed respect and restrained himself while we worked out of the public eye. The next step was to send contracts, and we promised Joshua not to delay with this. I don’t expect any problems to arise. We all want this fight to happen.”

Recall that the parties agreed to hold the fight on December 3 in Cardiff (Wales), despite the fact that 60% of the prize fund will go to the reigning champion Fury, and in the event of Tyson’s defeat, a rematch will take place.

A little earlier, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed how Fury and Joshua were negotiating.
