September 17 on the same T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA), the third full-time fight will be held by antagonists Saul Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) from Mexico and Gennady Golovkin (42-1-1, 37 KOs) from Kazakhstan. This time they will fight for all the super middleweight belts.

Leading up to the fight, Canelo relentlessly insists that “it’s personal” for him.
Golovkin was asked to comment on the behavior of the opponent.
Veteran’s answer: “I can’t speak for him. Perhaps he just needs some extra motivation after the defeat. I will repeat once again that for me this is just another fight.
The undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo in May of this year tried to take away the WBA Super belt from Russian Dmitry Bivol, but lost by decision of the judges. It is interesting that Golovkin will not perform at his native limit – he spent his entire career in the middleweights.
“A fight of 76.2 kg…” the veteran thought. — There are “pluses” and there are “minuses”. Now it’s hard to talk about it, because I just have to debut in a new weight. I’m getting ready, and the fight will show.”
Earlier, Golovkin was not very confident about what would happen after the fight with Canelo. This time he corrected himself: “First of all, I am a boxer. And if there is a chance to unify the titles in this weight or middleweight, then I will certainly consider this option. If there is a chance to fight David Benavidez or Jermall Charlo, then I will seriously weigh the pros and cons.”
Golovkin remains the current holder of the WBA Super and IBF middleweight belts. It is possible that soon he will be offered to fight with the Olympic medalist from Brazil Esquiva Falcao (obligatory challenger from IBF).
The previous two fights between Golovkin and Canelo took place in 2017 and 2018. First, a controversial draw was recorded, then Canelo won minimally. In those fights, they fought for the Golovkin middleweight belts.
Yesterday Canelo and Golovkin met in New York: there was a new duel of views and even a pitcher challenge. Last week, the Mexican said that Gennady is a mu*ilo who poses as a good guy. And he retorted with restraint: “What is he, a red mouse or a rooster?”
