One of the most anticipated (perhaps even the most anticipated) fights in boxing is tentatively scheduled for April 23 in Las Vegas (USA) – popular American lightweight knockouts Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) and Ryan Garcia will meet in a head-to-head fight in a contractual weight. (23-0, 19 KOs).
It was assumed that at first both would hold one intermediate fight in January. On January 7, Gervonta will meet with the WBA champion at 59 kg Dominican Hector Luis Garcia – they will fight for the Davis title (WBA World lightweight). Ryan planned (and even signed a contract) for a super lightweight fight with Filipino Mercito Gesta, but then changed his mind.

In September, Garcia and Davis nearly got into a fight at a nightclub. Then both told their versions of the incident. Gervonta claims that Ryan was simply drunk as an insole: “He was drunk. He comes to our table, and he barely moves his tongue … “
The legendary Andre Ward named the favorite of the fight Gervont Davis – Ryan Garcia. And the current WBC 63.5 kg champion Regis Prograis believes that “the fight with Ryan Garcia is a cakewalk.”
