American coach Sugar Hill has become involved in a heated argument over the place of his ward WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) in the history of the division.

Recently, in Britain, there has been a lot of discussion about how Fury’s fight with the legendary compatriot Lennox Lewis, the last undisputed heavyweight champion in history, would have ended.

“It’s clear that I will bet on my fighter, –
smiling Hill. – Lennox is my friend, but I train Tyson, so I can’t answer otherwise. Or what would you like to hear from me? We always have to be 100% sure of ourselves.”

Lewis is one of the most iconic boxers of coaching legend Emmanuel Steward, Sugar Hill’s uncle. Coach Fury tried to imagine a fight with Tyson taking on Lennox, with Steward himself in the corner of the legend.

“We would meet him again in the ring,” smiles Hill. — How would I feel? What anyone will feel when the dream of a lifetime comes true. How would this fight go? I don’t know. It all depends on how Emmanuel would prepare his fighter against mine. I really don’t know how this fight would have turned out. It seems to me that everything could be decided by some detail, some moment. Perhaps everything would have been decided in the course of the battle, depending on who makes corrections faster, who better changes the plan for the battle, who thinks faster … “

The legendary Roy Jones, multiple ex-champion Antonio Tarver, as well as the current promoter Barry McGuigan, have already expressed their opinions about the fight between Lewis and Fury.
