British heavyweight and former WBC title contender Dillian Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) has not given up on the idea of facing former UFC champion Cameroonian big guy Francis Ngannou (17-3 in MMA). Moreover, he is ready to do this both in boxing and in MMA – the Briton even has experience in mixed martial arts (winning by early knockout, dated 2008).

reacted to the news about the departure of the champion from the UFC: “I would love to fight him. Yes, he is a champion and a really dangerous dude, but I think I would have smeared him. I think we would have a very interesting fight. Especially since we both have experience in MMA, and he seems to be willing to start in boxing right away as a tough dude. Like me. White understands Ngannou’s decision to switch from MMA to boxing: “Yes, they all understand that they will earn more in the ring than in the cage.
