A video appeared in which the head of the UFC persuades Nurmagomedov to return
UFC President Dana White meets UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in Abu Dhabi. At the meeting, they discussed the decision of the Russian to end his career.
A video has surfaced online showing White speaking to Nurmagomedov about the financial benefits of his return.
“The fight between Poirier and McGregor is already more successful in terms of pay-per-view than your fight with Conor. Imagine how much you can earn with Conor for a rematch,” White said.
Recall that on the night of January 24 at UFC 257, McGregor will fight with Dustin Poirier.
