Top contender from the US welterweight knockout Jaron Ennis (29-0, 27 KOs) is still set to meet in the ring with pound the owner of the WBO belt compatriot Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) – promises that he will take the fight regardless of the conditions.

“Everywhere. Even in his living room,
claims Ennis. “The location of the fight is not an issue.”

Over the weekend, Crawford beautifully knocked out Russian David Avanesyan. And Ennis is in shock: “How did it happen that he didn’t even contact me, didn’t offer me a fight? I’m higher ranked than the guy he fought. I promised earlier and I confirm now that I will accept the fight on any terms. Regardless of which platform to fight on, where to fight and when. Ready to box in his native Omaha. I want to take the title from him. I want to make it bright. If given a chance, I will do it.”

On January 7, Ennis will box for the interim IBF title with Ukrainian Karen Chukhadzhyan. He does not hide the fact that he wanted another opponent. A little earlier, his father/coach named Crawford’s weak spot.
