In Las Vegas, the official weigh-in ceremony of the UFC Fight Night 216 tournament, which will be the final event of the strongest league in the world this year, took place.
The show’s headliners, Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland, made weight by recording 185.5 and 186 pounds respectively, but the latter didn’t look very good and held his own.
Participants in the second most important event, Russian lightweights Damir Ismagulov and Arman Tsarukyan, had no problems getting into the limit of their weight category, showing 156 and 155.5 pounds.
In the preliminary card of the event, the next fights will be held by the Russians Said Nurmagomedov and Rinat Fakhretdinov, who, like their rivals, also successfully coped with the weight race.
