WBO world welterweight champion Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) has another one who wants to measure his strength with him. Yesterday, California prospect Alexis Rocha (22-1, 14 KOs) knocked out in the 7th round the age and small George Asha, after which the 25-year-old southpaw got excited and wanted one of the division leaders.

“I want Crawford in the next fight, let’s go,” Rocha said in the ring immediately after the fight. Everyone always asks me if I’m ready. I won’t know until I’m in the ring with him. I’m ready for big name fights. I know whoever I fight, I will rise to a new level every time.”

As Alexis put it, WBC/WBA champion Errol Spence “for some reason doesn’t want to fight Crawford.”

De La Hoya named his favorite in the fight Crawford-Spence

“He will fight Thurman. And I’m next on the WBO line, so I want Crawford in the next fight, ”Rocha repeated.

In October 2020, Rocha lost a decision to Rashidi Ellis.

At the end of 2022, Roy Jones named the best current boxer in the world, or rather, two.
