Vladimir Mineyev’s fee for two fights with Ivan Shtyrkov has been announced

Reigning AMC Fight Nights middleweight champion Vladimir Mineev will receive a total of about thirty million rubles for his two fights against Ivan Shtyrkov.

This was announced at a press conference in Ekaterinburg by AMC Fight Nights president Kamil Gadzhiev, who signed the contract for both fights on behalf of Mineyev.

“The first fight will take place within the FKR PRO league, the second within the RCC,” Gadzhiev stated. “The base fee that the RCC league will pay Mineyev for the MMA fight will be slightly lower than the fee we will pay him for the kickboxing fight. But we have an agreement that we, as the party representing him, will get some sort of promotional options that we monetize and then bring it all to the desired figure. I think that Vova will earn about thirty million for two fights, taking into account advertising and other revenues”

The Russian fighters will have their first fight on November 18 in Sochi under the rules of kickboxing, and in 2024 will complete their confrontation with a rematch under the rules of mixed martial arts.

Vladimir Mineyev, 33, who holds the AMC Fight Nights middleweight title, last fought on September 15, knocking out former Bellator champion Rafael Carvalho in the second round of a kickboxing bout.

Ivan Shtyrkov, 35, made a failed attempt to win the Hardcore Boxing 101.6kg championship belt late last month, losing by knockout to Konstantin Erokhin in the first round.
