On the night of August 6-7, Fort Worth (USA) will host the Golden Boy Promotions boxing evening, the main event of which will be a WBA welterweight (up to 66.7 kg) contender fight between US rising star Virgil Ortiz (18- 0, 18 KOs) and Briton Michael McKinson (22-0, 2 KOs).
Today, the participants of the show went through the official weigh-in procedure.
Ortiz weight – 66.5 kg; Mackinson’s weight 66.6 kg.

American Marlene Esparza (12-1, 1 KOs) will defend her WBC and WBA flyweight titles (up to 50.8 kg) against Eva Guzman (19-1-1, 11 KOs) from Venezuela.
Esparza was easier. 49.4 kg she has and 50.7 kg at Guzman.
Former world champion in super lightweight weight American Maurice Hooker (27-2-3, 18 KOs) in the welterweight category (up to 66.7 kg) will meet with compatriot Blair Cobbs (15-1-1, 10 KOs).
Hooker failed the weigh-in by showing 68 kg. However, Cobbs, whose weight was 66.2 kgdid not refuse to fight.
Titled amateur, super-middleweight prospect (up to 76.2 kg) from Uzbekistan Bektemir Melikuziev (9-1, 7 KOs) will enter the ring against Bosnian Sladan Janjanin (32-11, 24 KOs).
Weight Melikuziev – 77.6 kg; Janjanin’s weight 76.2 kg.
