The UFC Vegas 49 mixed martial arts tournament took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In one of the fights of the main card, the Armenian Arman Tsarukyan met with the Spaniard Joel Alvarez. In the second round, Tsarukyan knocked out his opponent.

Canadian Misha Tsirkunov and Brazilian Wellington Thurman met in the co-main event of the tournament. The fight also ended in the second round, with Thurman winning via submission.
