After receiving a punch from Arman Tsarukyan, American lightweight Bobby Green, after getting support, came back and attacked Russian corner fighter, Elvis Shahbazyan, setting up a brawl in the hotel lobby.
A related video showing the second part of the incident was posted on social media.
Also one of the participants of the confused scuffle was welterweight Phil Rowe, who is either trying to defuse the situation or participating in the conflict on the side of the American.
The day before, Bobby Green reported the incident on social media, claiming that he punched one of Tsarukyan’s teammates when the Russian approached him to clarify relations. Tsarukyan responded by posting a video blog showing him punching the American after the latter shoved him in the chest. The Russian goes down to the hotel lobby, where the conflict continued, after the security service intervened and broke up the scuffle.
Recall that in less than 24 hours, Arman Tsarukyan will headline UFC on ESPN 52 in Austin along with American Benil Dariush, while Bobby Green will face his compatriot Jalin Turner in the second most important event of the event.
