The phrase “tap or snap” isn’t a joke to Anna Somers.
The strawweight contestant scored her first win in MMA on Friday, breaking the arm of Irlanda Galino at Combate Global. Late in round one, Somers twisted Galindo’s arm in order to force it into submission. The scene was reminiscent of Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira’s devastating kimura in 2011..
“Somers taking Galindo’s arm, my goodness! “And you could hear it!” shouted a cageside commentator.

Combate Global took place Friday at the Cisneros Studios in Miami, Florida.
With the win, Somers moved her professional MMA record to 1-1, while Galindo dropped to 1-2 in defeat.
