Former two-time world boxing champion, State Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev commented on the detention of Tajik mixed martial arts fighter and blogger Chorshanbe Chorshanbiev for fast driving without a driver’s license in Moscow.
“Driving a car without a license, which did not lead to a traffic accident, entails an administrative fine,” Valuev quotes “Gazeta.Ru”. – Fine can be increased to unpleasant sizes – those that would frankly hurt the purse of the violator».
According to the deputy, a fine is the only measure for this violation.
“EIf there are consequences in the form of an accident and the rest, everything is considered differently. If administrative fines were raised, this could somehow stop people,” he said.
Valuev also reacted to the fact that the fighter posted videos of his “races” on social networks.
“Speaking of bloggers who do such things on purpose, these fines will never cover what they earn through views, likes and ads. A person on his page sells ads. It is rather the ethical side of the issue regarding those who place these ads.“, – said the deputy.
In his opinion, andappealing to the morale of advertisers will not achieve anything.
“MWe will not be able to regulate this by law, because it is the same as chasing television for some unethical things – unless, of course, they completely border on breaking the law, like pornography, violence, propaganda of fascism. Now this includes smoking and drinking alcohol, ”he concluded.
December 3 26-year-old Chorshanbiev was stopped traffic police officers after racing through the Lefortovsky tunnel in Moscow and taken to the police department. The fighter was attracted for the lack of an OSAGO policy, as well as for the lack of a driver’s license. His car was sent to a special parking lot.
