The reigning UFC flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, plans to make her next title defense against Division No. 1 and Division 5 Alexa Grasso, respectively.
“I would consider two names – Alexa Grasso and Manon Fioro,” Bullet said in an interview with MMA Junkie. “These are two contenders who are very good and ready for the title test. I think one of them will be next.”
Shevchenko also commented on the statement of the current UFC flyweight champion, Weili Zhang, who recently announced her desire to fight her.
“It’s one of the options, definitely. I saw her recent fight. She has become stronger, including tactically, but if this fight takes place, it will not help her.”
The UFC champion does not rule out a super fight with Amanda Nunes, who owns the UFC titles in the lightest and featherweight weight categories.
“Yes, this fight is also interesting, and I am ready for it, because it makes sense. Let’s see how it all pans out because big names, big superfights are always good.”
Valentina Shevchenko last entered the octagon in June of this year, winning a split decision against Taila Santos.
