Vadim Nemkov’s heavyweight opponent has been officially announced

Bellator’s top fighter, Vadim Nemkov, will make his heavyweight debut on February 24 at the Bellator and PFL co-main event in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, and the Russian will face Brazilian Bruno Cappelozza, who won the PFL heavyweight grand prix in 2021.

The bout was officially announced by the organizers, who announced nine matches for the upcoming event.

At the moment, the tournament card looks as follows:

Ryan Bader vs. Henan Ferreira – heavyweight champion fight

Johnny Eblin – Impa Kasanganai – Middleweight Championship Fight

Patricio Freire – Jesus Pinedo – bantamweight championship fight

Jason Jackson – Magomed Magomedkerimov – fight of champions in welterweight division.

Vadim Nemkov – Bruno Cappelozza

Yoel Romero – Tiago Santos

A.J. McKee – Clay Collard

Aaron Pico for Gabriel Braga.

Biagio Ali Walsh – Chris Morris

Also competing in the event will be two-time Olympic gold medalist and former overall world middleweight boxing champion, Claressa Shields, whose opponent remains unknown at this time.
