Vadim Nemkov outweighed his opponent ahead of his heavyweight debut

Former Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov has undergone the official weigh-in procedure ahead of his heavyweight debut bout, which will take place Feb. 24 at the PFL and Bellator co-main event in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh.

The Russian fighter recorded 108 kg (238.1 lbs), while his opponent, former PFL champion Bruno Cappelozza, was slightly underweight at 107.1 kg (236.2 lbs).

The second pair of heavyweights, Bellator champion Ryan Bader and PFL champion Henan Ferreira, whose clash will headline the event, settled at 104.8 kg (231.1 lbs.) and 119.4 kg (263.2 lbs.), respectively.

In a recent interview, Vadim Nemkov said he expects to challenge the winner of the title superfight if he defeats the Brazilian; however, the day before, PFL league officials officially announced that the next opponent for the champion to unify the two belts will be former UFC heavyweight titleholder Francis Ngannou.

The showcase weigh-in ceremony for the PFL vs. Bellator: Champions tournament will take place on February 23 at 8:00 p.m. Moscow time.
