Vadim Nemkov is scheduled for another fight

Reigning Bellator light heavyweight champion and the organization’s top fighter regardless of weight class, Vadim Nemkov, will have his next fight in the heavyweight division at the PFL and Bellator co-main event on February 24 in Saudi Arabia.

This was announced by Nemkov’s mentor, legendary Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko.

“Vadim Nemkov at flyweight defeated everyone he could – he’s number one at that weight, and now he’s moved up to heavyweight,” The Last Emperor was quoted as saying by the press service of the Archangel Michael club. “We know the opponent, we are preparing for him. To name his name I can not – it should be done by the organization. The fight is planned for February 24”

In a recent interview Vadim Nemkov said that his next opponent could be Bellator champion Henan Ferreira, or one of the heavyweights of the unified roster of PFL and Bellator.

Vadim Nemkov, 31, has had ten fights in Bellator without a single loss, and the last time the Russian stepped into the cage in June of last year, he successfully defended his championship belt against Yoel Romero, who he defeated by unanimous decision.

We would like to remind you that the main fights of the joint PFL and Bellator tournament will be superfights with the participation of the champions of the two leagues.
