The winner of the Olympic Games-2012, the former absolute champion of the cruiserweight and the current holder of the WBA Super, IBF and WBO heavyweight belts Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) is ready to once again make the heavyweight limit for the fight with the Pound leader Mexican Saul Canelo Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs).

At a minimum, this is what Egis Klimas, the manager of the Ukrainian, says – through social networks, he responded to what was voiced by the promoter Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing) Canelo’s offer to fight Usyk at a contractual weight (91.2 kg).

“Welcome, –
writes Klimas. – For the sake of this fight, Usyk will make a cruiserweight limit. But let Canelo focus on the Bivol fight first.”

Already this Saturday, the undisputed super middleweight champion Alvarez will try to take away the WBA Super belt from Russian light heavyweight Dmitry Bivol. The fight will take place on T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas (USA), will be shown online
