Ukrainian IBF/WBO/WBA heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) returned with his wife Ekaterina to his private house in Vorzel, a suburb of Kyiv, which was under temporary occupation of Russian troops in February/March 2022.

The pictures are posted in the boxer’s Instagram stories.

During the attempt to break through to Kyiv, the horde killed and maimed local residents, looted and crap in their homes, before the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the invaders from the north of the country.

Fight Usyk – Joshua. ZSU

Judging by the photo, the Usykovs are doing well, especially since their house was almost not damaged by the Russians.

At the end of February, with the start of a full-scale invasion of the Russian hordes, Usyk “signed up” in the ranks of the territorial defense and was in standby mode for some time, but subsequently decided to take revenge with Joshua, preparations for which took place abroad.

On August 29, Alexander returned to Ukraine. At the end of summer, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Usyk an order for winning revenge, and at the beginning of autumn, the boxer reported on raising funds for a car for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the amount is impressive.
