Former WBC heavyweight belt holder Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs), who brutally, in his usual hard style, dealt with veteran Robert Helenius in the 1st round a couple of hours ago, said at the post-match press conference, who he liked as the next opponent.
Annoyingly, however, the American did not name one person, so that for sure.
“I am ready for any fight. Whether it’s Andy Ruiz or Oleksandr Usyk,” he said. “Deontay Wilder is back, the hype in the heavyweight division is back!”
His coach believes that Wilder will knock out Usyk, the IBF, WBO and WBA world champion, but Deontay himself does not want to scare Usyk.
