Former unified heavyweight champion (up to 90.7 kg), as well as ex-world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) British David Haye in
interview commented on the scandalous statement of his compatriot, former world heavyweight champion, and now boxing expert on television, Johnny Nelson, to the local media.

Recall that recently Nelson said that the current unified champion of the heavyweight division Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) is a left-handed middle peasant.

– Josh’s rematch – Usyk isn’t that far away. I want to hear your comments about the words of Johnny Nelson, who said that Usyk is a left-handed middle peasant.

I’m sure he didn’t say it in that context. Johnny Nelson was a boxing master, especially at long range. He himself was a good left-hander. I don’t think Johnny believes Usyk is a mediocre southpaw. Usyk was the undisputed cruiserweight champion. He is now the unified heavyweight champion. There is nothing mediocre in what he did. On the contrary, Usyk is extraordinary in what he does. It seems to me that the whole point is that Nelson just wanted to get some beautiful headlines from his conversation.

Recall that on August 20 in Saudi Arabia, the current holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles, Usyk, will have a rematch with Briton Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs). And Haye does not exclude that Joshua will again lose to Usyk and end his career.
