34-year-old British heavyweight Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) does not believe that 35-year-old Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) will be faster than him or show better footwork in the fight for undisputed champion status. According to the WBC champion, his potential megafight opponent is generally a sports old man.
“In fact, Usyk is older than me, he is about 35 years old. (almost 36, – ed.), I am 34 years old. So it’s an even fight,” Tyson said.
talkSPORT. – If he was 22 years old, perhaps everything would be different, but he is an old man. He had under 300 amateur fights and about 20 professional fights, he is also worn out. It has about 250,000 miles on the odometer. It’s like 250,000 miles [авто]”.
Fury said: “I am ready and willing to fight Usyk in my next fight whether it be in Saudi Arabia or here in the UK. Both locations will be fantastic.”

The Briton is not going to underestimate the enemy. He says that Usyk is not easy to calculate – “he is agile, left-handed with very good skills, an Olympic gold medalist, and he is getting in good shape.”
“I don’t believe that he has the best footwork in boxing, I also don’t believe that he is faster than me in terms of speed,” Fury concluded.
This superfight is almost agreed upon and supposedly will take place no later than March 4 in the Middle East. Chisora’s trainer believes that if anyone can outbox Fury, it’s Usyk.
