Umar Nurmagomedov made a statement about his next fight in the UFC

UFC lightweight division number thirteen Umar Nurmagomedov will compete at UFC Fight Night 238 on March 2 in Las Vegas.

This was announced by the manager of the Russian fighter, Ali Abdelaziz.

“Finally someone accepted the fight with Umar Nurmagomedov on March 2,” Abdelaziz wrote on social media.

“I finally have a fight. Many thanks to the UFC and Sean Shelby,” Nurmagomedov confirmed the news.

There is no information yet on who his opponent will be.

Umar Nurmagomedov, 28, knows no defeats and is riding a four-fight win streak under the UFC banner, having knocked out Brazilian Raoni Barcelos in the first round in his last fight.

Last August, the Russian was scheduled to fight American Corey Sandhagen, which, in theory, could have been a contender fight for him, but Nurmagomedov suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery and withdrew from the fight.

Recall that UFC Fight Night 238 was scheduled to take place in Riyadh, however, the organization postponed its debut in Saudi Arabia and the event was moved to the United States.
