Umar Nurmagomedov has made a request to Dana White

Russian fighter Umar Nurmagomedov, ranked fourteenth in the UFC’s lightweight division, is still having serious difficulty finding an opponent.

“Hey Dana White, even I’m tired of hearing, ‘Nobody wants to fight Umar,'” the Russian wrote on social media, addressing the head of the organization. “Make someone fight me!”

Nurmagomedov also made it clear that he would like to compete at UFC 298, which takes place on February 17 in Anaheim.

“And a message for the lightest division: on Feb. 17 – if you’re not busy and you want to fight, let the UFC know”

Umar Nurmagomedov, 27, is riding a four-fight win streak in the UFC, having knocked out Raoni Barcelos as early as the first round in his last fight. The Russian was scheduled to fight American Corey Sandhagen in the main event of UFC on ESPN 50 this August, but dropped out of the event after suffering a shoulder injury that required surgery.
