Ukrainians in Latvia: Fedas lost to a veteran, Sobol was almost disqualified

Melbin Hernandez (7-1-1, 6 KOs) from Venezuela.

The Latin American took the fight not in his weight category and literally at the last moment. Sobol imposed hard power boxing on his opponent. He confidently led the fight to victory, then for some reason he moved his opponent with his head, and in the final round also on the back of his head.

The judges unanimously gave the Ukrainian all the rounds – three times 60-54.

An intriguing confrontation took place in super middleweight (up to 76.2 kg): Dmitry Fedas (8-2-2, 5 KOs) competed against the German Nick Hannig (11-1-1, 5 KOs).

The battle took place on a collision course and turned out to be very spectacular. The older German, who had not appeared in the ring for a long time, had more hits. Two judges gave him the victory, and the third one counted a draw: 59-55, 59-56 and 57-57.

In the main fight of the evening, the vacant belt of the IBF Latin American champion in the bantamweight (up to 53.5 kg) was contested: local fighter Kevin Luis Muñoz (16-1, 6 KOs) won on points and inflicted a debut defeat on profiring to the talented Venezuelan
Isaac Arias (11-1, 9 KOs).

The judges unanimously gave the victory to the local fighter – three times 97-93.

Llevate Event Center, Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. In the main event of the evening, local bantamweight prospect (up to 53.5 kg) Dylan Price (16-0, 10 KOs) won the NABO North American title in a confrontation with Filipino Jobert Alvarez (20-5-2, 7 KOs).

The fight went all the way. The victory went to the local favorite – 100-90 and twice 98-92.
