Ukrainian fighter Loss expects to cancel the defeat in the UFC

Ukrainian light heavyweight Igor Poterya, who lost to New Zealander Carlos Ullberg in the first round at UFC on ABC 4 in Charlotte, believes that he has every reason to demand that the result of the fight be cancelled.

“I want to thank everyone for their support – I really appreciate it,” Lose wrote on the social network. “I don’t feel like I lost the fight. I hope that the UFC will draw the appropriate conclusions and make a decision, because hitting the back of the head is against the rules. I don’t wish this referee on anyone.”

As proof of his words, the Ukrainian posted a video where the opponent fails him and hits him on the back of the head.

Recall that earlier, 26-year-old Igor Loss, who received a contract with the UFC thanks to his victory at the Dana White’s Contender Series show, had two fights in the strongest league in the world, losing by technical knockout to Nikolai Negumerian and defeating the legendary Brazilian Mauricio Hua by technical knockout. The Ukrainian celebrated the victory over Shogun with a dance, thereby provoking a wave of hate in his address from both fans and fighters, who considered his behavior disrespectful.
