UFC reaction to Stefan Bonnar's death

The leadership of the strongest league in the world commented on the news of the death of UFC Hall of Famer Stefan Bonnar, who died at the age of 45 due to heart problems.

“The UFC family is saddened by the passing of UFC Hall of Famer Stefan Bonnar,” the organization said in a statement on social media. “We express our sincere condolences to his family and friends”

In 2013, Stefan Bonnar was inducted into the Fighting Wing of the UFC Hall of Fame as a participant in the final bout of the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, in which he lost a unanimous decision to Forrest Griffin. In the UFC, American Psycho spent fifteen fights, scoring eight wins and suffering seven losses, and ended his career in 2014 after losing a split decision to Tito Ortiz under the Bellator banner.
