UFC President is ready to organize a fight between Tyson Fury and Jon Jones

UFC President Dana White has commented on the spat between reigning UFC heavyweight title holder Jon Jones and reigning WBC boxing champion Tyson Fury who exchanged challenges last week.

“Jon Jones is the most dangerous dude on the planet,” said the head of the strongest league in the world in an interview with Bro Bible. “It’s impossible to deny. There is nothing to argue about here. I don’t care what they say about it and how they try to turn it around. Basically it’s just clickbait. You know my position: if Tyson Fury really wants to fight Jon Jones in the UFC, I will do it. Here’s my word: Tyson, if you’re serious, let me know. Tyson and I have a good relationship. I like Tyson Fury”

“We can say whatever we want. Tyson can talk, Jono Jones can talk, I can talk – we can all talk. So let’s just do it. If Tyson is serious and really wants it, we got Floyd vs. Conor and we paid Floyd. We paid him as much as he requested. If Tyson Fury is serious and wants to fight Jon Jones in the UFC, let’s start a conversation.”

Recall that the reason for the skirmish between Jones and Fury was the Briton’s insulting statement to UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who had previously given him no chance in a hypothetical fight with the American heavyweight. At the same time, the “Gypsy King” called himself “the most dangerous person on the planet,” however, he refused to share a cage with Jones, challenging the reigning UFC champion to a boxing match.

According to the UFC plan, Jon Jones should defend his title in November against his compatriot Stipe Miocic, and Tyson Fury planned to have a unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk, however, negotiations with the Ukrainian boxer came to a standstill and were terminated.
