Brazilian heavyweight Zhailton Almeida won the fifth early victory in the UFC, having dealt with Surinamese puncher Jairzinho Rozenstruik in the first round.
In the thirtieth second of the fight headlining UFC on ABC 4 in Charlotte, Almeida moved the opponent, got into a full mount three minutes later, and then finished by rear naked choke Rozenstruik who gave back.
In an interview after the fight, the Brazilian said that in the octagon he is equal to the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov, and he wants to see Australian Tai Tuivasa as his next opponent.
In the second most important event of the event, Brazilian light heavyweight Johnny Walker extended his winning streak to three matches, winning a unanimous decision against former UFC title contender Anthony Smith.
Walker was close to an early victory in the first and final rounds, but Smith managed to survive until the final siren, not least thanks to the pause that the Brazilian decided to take in the second five-minute period.
Among other results, we note another early victory of the New Zealand light heavyweight Carlos Ullberg, who already in the first round finished with a technical knockout of Ukrainian Igor Lost, as well as the successful performance of the American veteran Matt Brown, who knocked out his compatriot Court McGee in the starting five minutes.
