UFC is working on organizing a superfight without Conor McGregor’s involvement

The world’s strongest league has begun working on developing a superfight that does not involve Conor McGregor.

This was announced by the head of the UFC, Dana White, in the next edition of the podcast FULL SEND.

“Right now we are discussing one superfight – we had this idea just a few days ago,” said the head of the organization. “I can’t discuss it until we’re in agreement with everybody. Obviously, every fight with the prefix ‘super’ involves Conor McGregor, but not this time.”

As for Conor McGregor set to fight Michael Chandler, White confirmed that the former UFC two-weight champion is set to return to the octagon next year.

“One hundred percent – he’s going to fight next year. No matter how much de****y talk there is about fighter fees, Chandler has the ability to sit idle and wait for McGregor to come back. These guys are in a good financial position, so they can wait for the right time to fight.”
