Ben Sosoli gets jail time

Australian UFC heavyweight Ben Sosoli (6-2) has been sentenced to 22 months in prison. He received such a sentence for having a fight in a bar in Melbourne.

In September 2019, Sosoli worked as a security guard at a bar. The athlete quarreled with one of the visitors, after which he was hit and broke his opponent’s jaw.

Sosol was detained. He pleaded guilty to negligently causing serious injury and received 22 months in prison, of which he had already served 11.
