UFC Fight Night 220 results: Krylov pulled out of the fight, Allen defeated Muniz ahead of schedule

UFC Fight Night 220 has ended in Las Vegas, with an unscheduled middleweight bout between Andre Muniz and Brendan Allen as the main event.

The participants of the co-main event were appointed headliners of the show after it turned out that due to food poisoning, Russian light heavyweight Nikita Krylov could not head the event and fight against American Ryan Spann.

As a result, the middleweight fight, which retained the three-round format, ended 35 seconds before the final siren with Allen’s victory by rear naked choke.

In the second most important event of the tournament, the Brazilian heavyweight Augusto Sakai closed a series of four early defeats, winning by unanimous decision against American Dontal Mays.

Among other results of the event, we note the long-awaited return to the octagon of Tatyana Suarez, who finished with a guillotine choke in the second round against Montana De La Rosa, resuming her career after an almost four-year break, as well as the successful debut in the organization of the representative of Tajikistan Nurullo Aliyev, who won Rafael Alves by a majority of judges’ votes.

Early victories were recorded by Mike Malott, Trevor Peak, Jordan Leavitt and Joe Solecki.
