The UFC has announced a fight between light heavyweights Magomed Ankalaev and Thiago Santos. The fight will take place on the night of March 12-13 in Las Vegas and will head the main card of the UFC Fight Night tournament.
Ankalaev in his last fight in October at the UFC 267 tournament defeated the Swiss Volkan Ozdemir by unanimous decision.
Santos defeated compatriot Johnny Walker via unanimous decision at UFC 193 in October.
29-year-old Ankalaev in MMA won 16 victories and suffered 1 defeat. The 37-year-old Santos has 22 wins and 9 losses.
