UFC champion Sean Strickland threw his jiu-jitsu black belt in the trash

Reigning UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, became so disillusioned with Brazilian jiu-jitsu that he threw his black belt, which he had been marching towards for over a decade, in the trash.

The corresponding video of the American fighter published in the social network.

“For over a decade of my life I wanted this piece of cloth,” Strickland wrote in a comment.

This publication is in keeping with the course of conduct of the UFC champion, who is not afraid to speak out on sensitive topics and make provocative statements, including to the American society and government.

Recall that in September of this year, Sean Strickland sensationally defeated Israel Adesanya by unanimous decision and took away from the Nigerian the championship belt, the first defense of which will be held on January 20 at UFC 297 in Toronto against South African Dricus Du Plessis.
