Reigning UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland, is not thrilled with the actions of the U.S. government and his countrymen who are supporting Ukraine in its armed conflict with Russia.
“You’re just a bunch of stupid idiots,” the American wrote on social media. “Government: ‘Russia is bad, Ukraine is good.’ Americans: ‘Yeah, yeah, fuck Russia – give them tanks’. Six months later, Americans: ‘Why is gasoline so expensive? Why does everything cost more?'”
“You can ignore everything I say, but you guys are just stupid. When you get drowned, you’re so busy fighting for a breath of air that you forget who’s drowning you. And not so long ago you were all walking around with Ukrainian flags on your backs, you stupid government mouthpieces”
A few days earlier, Strickland noted the quality of Russian weaponry by posting a photo of a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
Recall that Sean Strickland will come out to defend his title on January 20 at UFC 297 in Toronto, and the opponent of the American will be South African Dricus Du Plessis.
