American fighter wants to try his hand at professional boxing
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is open to boxing with heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
“I would love to test myself against Joshua or Fury. This is a different matter, a different fight, a different sport. It is clear that boxing is primarily a technique, but I would do it with a fight.
Of course, I would like to come to their world. I think it would be a more fair fight. Both for us and for them the duel starts in the standing position. Only here you can kick, pass in the legs. They are not used to it at all. They don’t have any skills there at all,” Miocic said on Ariel Helwani’s podcast.
Recall that on March 27 at UFC 260 Miocic will fight against Francis Ngannou.
