UFC 296 kicks off on December 17 at 2:00 Moscow time at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the main event being a welterweight title fight between Britain’s Leon Edwards and American Colby Covington.
In the co-main event, Brazilian Alesandre Pantoja, who holds the UFC flyweight title, will step up to defend the belt against American Brandon Royval.
In the third main event of the show, undefeated Kazakh welterweight Shavkat Rakhmonov will share the octagon with former UFC title challenger Stephen Thompson of the United States.
The only Russian representative on the card of this year’s final event of the world’s strongest league will be Tagir Ulanbekov, who will face American Cody Durden in the lightweight division.
The live broadcast of UFC 296 will be available for free on Match TV, Match! Fighter, Match TV’s official channels on Rutube and Odnoklassniki, as well as on the UFC Fight Pass digital platform on a subscription basis.
The main card of the event will begin at 6:00 Moscow time, with Leon Edwards and Colby Covington tentatively set to step into the octagon at 8:00 Moscow time.
