UFC 292 tournament salaries

The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission has released the payroll for the salaries of the UFC 292: Sterling vs. O’Malley tournament, which took place on August 19 in Boston.

The event’s runner-up, reigning UFC featherweight champion Weili Zhang, is the sole leader of the payroll with a $520,000 fee, while the second and third spots were shared by the event’s headliners, Sean O’Malley and Aljamain Sterling, who added $500,000 each to their bank accounts.

Sean O’Malley: $500,000 (no win bonus)

Aljamain Sterling: $500,000.

Weili Zhang: $520,000 (no win bonus)

Amanda Lemos: $250,000.

Ian Machado Harry: $100,000 (including $50,000 in win bonus)

Neil Magny: $134,000

Mario Bautista: $86,000 (including $43,000 in win bonus)

DaMon Blackshear: $27,000

Marlon Vera: $310,000 (including $155,000 in win bonus)

Pedro Munoz: $150,000.

Brad Tavares: $200,000 (including $100,000 as a win bonus)

Chris Weidman: $426,000.

Gregory Rodriguez: $100,000 (including $50,000 in win bonus)

Denis Tyulyulin: $14,000

Kurt Holobaugh: $30,000 (including $15,000 in win bonus)

Austin Hubbard: $32,000.

Brad Katona: $64,000 (including $32,000 in win bonus)

Cody Gibson: $15,000

Andre Petroski: $36,000 (including $18,000 in win bonus)

As always, it’s worth bearing in mind that the amounts presented are essentially bare-bones tariff rates, and do not reflect the fighters’ entire income, which, in addition to fees, payments from the general sponsor and tournament bonuses, can include various additional compensation, as well as a percentage of pay-per-view sales.
