UFC 287 kicks off on April 9 at 01:00 am in Miami, USA, in the main event of which former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, representing Nigeria, will try to regain the title in an immediate rematch with Brazilian Alex Pereira.
The fight will be the fourth in a series of confrontations between the principal rivals – in the past, Pereira defeated Adesanya twice in kickboxing matches, and last November he took away the UFC championship belt from him, finishing by technical knockout in the fifth round.
The second biggest event of the event will see two former UFC welterweight title contenders, Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns, look to make a return to the title race.
