In Las Vegas, the official weigh-in ceremony for the participants of the UFC 282 tournament took place, the main event of which will be the fight for the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship belt between Russian Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz, representing Poland.
The headliners of the event had no problems getting into the championship limit of their division – Ankalaev showed 205 pounds exactly (93 kg), and Blachowicz kept within 204.5 pounds (92.7 kg).
