56-year-old Mike Tyson, who once served three years for rape, is again at the epicenter of a similar scandal. A woman, whose name has not been released, filed a $5 million lawsuit against him, accusing him of “brutal rape in a limousine” after meeting at a nightclub in Albany, New York, USA in the early 1990s. Writes about this story
The New York Post.
“I met Tyson in the early 1990s at a dance club called September,” the sworn letter says. “My girlfriend and I hung out with him and his limousine driver. Tyson told us about the party and asked us to join him.”
She got into the car after Tyson promised to pick up her friend and take them to the party. The accuser writes that Mike immediately began to touch her and tried to kiss her.
“I repeatedly said no and asked to stop, but he continued. He then pulled down my pants and brutally raped me,” the letter says.

The woman claims to have “suffered for many years from physical, psychological and emotional trauma” due to the alleged rape.
The lawsuit is filed under the state’s relatively recent law on adult victims of sexual assault, who can sue for assaults that happened many years or even decades ago.
The alleged victim is seeking $5 million in damages. Her lawyer also filed an affidavit to keep the client’s identity a secret.
The head of Queensberry Promotions, Frank Warren, says that Tyson is a redneck, a misogynist and a homophobe. Tyson was spotted in a wheelchair last year.
