Tyson Fury’s team reacted to Francis Ngannou’s open training session

The father of current WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, John Fury, has shared his opinion on the open workout of Francis Ngannou, who is set to share the ring with his son in a month’s time.

“Just watched Francis Ngannou, Mike Tyson, and the so called trainer holding his paws up working in open training – hope he’s joking and just pretending,” the Brit said in a video posted on social media. “I hope it’s a prank that you can laugh at. Because if not, he just doesn’t stand a chance. Not a single one. He won’t survive the first round. This will probably be the fastest knockout ever performed by Tyson.”

“I still think it’s such a tactic to mislead us – they’re running a complete game. If that’s all he’s got – God help him, he’s going to be shattered. That’s all I can say. If it was serious, and that’s all he could do in public training, he shouldn’t have done it because it’s a real disgrace”

Recall that the ten-round boxing match between “Gypsy King” and “The Predator” will be held on October 28 in the Saudi capital Riyadh, however, this time the Brit will not risk the championship belt belonging to him.
