Tyson Fury reacted to the postponement of the fight with Alexander Usik

Reigning WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, who two days ago suffered a dissection during sparring, commented on the news that his fight with Alexander Usik will be postponed for three months and will take place on May 18 in Riyadh.

“A nice little elbow flew right into my eye and almost cost me the biggest fight of my career,” “The Gypsy King” said in a video posted on social media. “But what can you do? De***o happens and we move on. We keep moving forward and now we have a new date.”

The British boxer has no doubt that he will knock out the Ukrainian, who holds the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles, and become the absolute world heavyweight boxing champion.

“Usik managed to cry all his eyes out – oh, Tyson wants to retire, it’s time for him to retire! No retirement, motherf***er! You’re going to get knocked out! You’re gonna get knocked out. May 18, live exclusively from Saudi Arabia.”

The day before, the fight’s promoter, Turki Alalsheikh, officially announced the new date for the fight, announcing that a boxer who fails to enter the ring on that date will be fined ten million dollars.
