Tyson Fury outweighs Francis Ngannou

Former UFC heavyweight titleholder, Francis Ngannou, and current WBC heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, have been officially weighed in ahead of their bout, which will take place on October 28 in Riyadh.

“The Gypsy King” slightly outweighed his opponent, recording 126 kg (277.7 lbs) on the scale, while “The Predator” settled at 123.4 kg (272.1 lbs).

A day earlier, the Briton admitted that he has managed to lose more than 13 kg (30 pounds) in the month and a half since the press conference, at which he showed his poor form.

As for the Cameroonian, who took the stage accompanied by his friend Israel Adesanya and trainer Mike Tyson, he came in at 116.6 kg (257 lbs) for his last UFC fight against Cyril Gane.

The ten-round boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will have professional status, however, the championship belt owned by the Brit will not be on the line this time. The “Gypsy King” will risk his title on December 23, when he takes on Ukrainian Oleksandr Usik in a unification fight.

Ngannou, after his fight with Fury, is set to make his debut in the PFL league he signed with after leaving the UFC.
