Tyson Fury names his next opponent after Francis Ngannou

Reigning WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, who is set to share the ring with Francis Ngannou in a month and a half, is set to square off with current UFC titleholder Jon Jones after his bout with the Cameroonian.

“I want to win this fight and then fight the big stars, the biggest stars,” MMAnews quoted Fury as saying. “Next on the list is Jon Jones. I’m going to kick his ass! Another UFC fighter.”

At the same time, the Brit does not rule out the possibility that he will fight the American under mixed martial arts rules.

“I’d fight Jon Jones in the cage as well if the money was right. Four ounce gloves would make me even more devastating.”

Earlier, Fury and Jones managed to exchange mutual outbursts online, arguing over which of them holds the title of “most dangerous man on the planet”, with UFC president, Dana White, promising “The Gypsy King” a title shot if he agrees to step into the octagon.

As a reminder, the professional boxing rules match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, and Jon Jones will make his heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic on November 11 at UFC 295 in New York City, after which he could end his mixed martial arts career.
